TIFFANY CROMARTIE made her professional opera debut as Gilda in Rigoletto with Shreveport Opera in 1997 shortly after graduating from Southern Methodist University, Meadows School of the Arts, with a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance. Her operatic credits include Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Anna Gomez in The Consul, both Lauret Norina Nella in Gianni Schicchi, and Jou-Jou in Merry Widow. She will soon add Norina in Don Pasquale to her credit with a performance later this year for San Francisco Lyric Opera. As a recital artist, Tiffany has given concerts in several cities in the United States and abroad. With numerous awards to her credit, she was the winner of the national Opera Association Competition in 1996 and was named “Singer of the Year” by the Shreveport Opera. She has appeared on the nationally televised A&E broadcast of “A Tribute to Stephen Sondheim” as well as other musical television performances.
