TERRY ALVORD has performed with Mission City Opera, Livermore Opera, Pocket Opera, Bay Shore Lyric Opera and San Francisco Opera Guild among others. Roles include Dorabella (Cosi fan tutte), Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro), Siebel (Faust), Hansel (Hansel and Gretel), Mercedes (Carmen) and Prince Orlovsky (Die Fledermaus).  She has been a soloist in Handel's Messiah, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass, Britten’s Ceremony of Carols and Beethoven's Fantasie as well as with the Gold Coast Chamber Players, Symphony Parnassus and the San Francisco Symphony. Ms. Alvord sings with the San Francisco Symphony Chorus and Philharmonia Baroque Chorale and is music director at Trinity/Montclair United Methodist Church. She received degrees in piano pedagogy and music theory from Roosevelt University, Chicago and a Master's in piano performance from the University of Illinois.
