STEVE ZIMMERMAN is very happy to return to the San Francisco Lyric Opera to sing the role of Sharpless in Madama Butterfly. Steve has appeared with the Lyric in the past as Germont in La Traviata, Donner in Das Rheingold and Silvio in I Pagliacci. Steve has also sung lead roles in Carmen, The Marriage of Figaro, Faust, La Boheme to name a few, with regional opera companies on both the West and East coasts. In concert he has performed as baritone soloist with the Chorus Angelorum in London, Paris, Rome, Rio and Zagreb.
