SARA MACBRIDE, soprano, has an international career on both the opera and concert stage. She sang the roles of Kate and Samantha in San Francisco Opera's The Ballad of Baby Doe and again in New York City Opera's production. Recently she sang the title role in both Pocket Opera's and Livermore Valley Opera's Tosca. She has appeared with the Silesian State Opera, Chautauqua Opera, Bay Shore Lyric Opera, Berkeley Opera, San Francisco Contemporary Works and the Mendocino Music Festival. At Cabrillo Music Festival she sang Vi in Gershwin's Blue Monday and Geraldine in Samuel Barber's A Hand of Bridge. She was soprano soloist in San Francisco Symphony's concert staging of Bernstein's Chichester Psalms and has sung in concert with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Oakland Symphony Chorus, Stone Bell Opera Series in Prague and the San Francisco Symphony Chorus.
