Cast Biographies
PATRICIE HOUSTON

PATRICE HOUSTON was born and educated in San José, California. Ms. Houston earned her Bachelors degree from San José State University under the tutelage of Irene Dalis and Joseph Frank. As an Associate Artist in Residence with Opera San José, Ms. Houston began her operatic career under the baton of Dr. David Rohrbaugh and the ever-fabulous Barbara Day Turner. On the competition trail, Ms. Houston was a semi-finalist in both the Metropolitan Opera Council Auditions (Pacific NW region) and the Loren Zachary Vocal Competition. Having performed such roles as Azucena, Ulrica, Frugola, and La Zia Principessa, Ms. Houston is currently developing Amneris, La Principessa di Bouillon and Erda to expand her repertoire. Internationally, Ms. Houston has performed in Italy, Germany and Holland.
