Cast Biographies
LANIER McNAB

LANIER MCNAB, soprano, has captivated audiences with he portrayals of Mimi in La Bohème, Violetta in La Traviata, the title role in Suor Angelica, Micaela in Carmen and Tatiana in Eugene Onegin.  A recent reviewer noted:  “No being, divine or beastly human, could resist soprano McNab’s gloriously pure, soaring notes.”  Ms. McNab has performed with numerous Bay Area opera companies including West Bay Opera, Berkeley Opera, Pocket Opera, San Francisco Lyric Opera, Golden Gate Opera, Cinnabar Opera, and The Lamplighters.  Other roles include Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, The Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, Abigail Williams in The Crucible, Beatrice in Beatrice and Benedick and the title role in Princess Ida.  Ms. McNab has also received the Jan Popper Award in the Henry and Maria Holt Competition and has performed with the Fremont Symphony.  This fall she can be seen as Tosca with Livermore Opera and next spring as Madama Butterfly.
