KATHRYN PALUMBO is delighted to be performing with San Francisco Lyric Opera once more. She sang Maddalena in the Lyric Opera's Rigoletto and Tisbe in La Cenerentola. Ms. Palumbo received her Bachelor of Music degree from UC Santa Cruz and her Masters in Opera Performance from The Boston Conservatory. While in Boston, Kathryn studied with Ms. Sherri Greenawald and is fortunate to continue to do so. Locally Ms. Palumbo has performed with Bayshore Lyric Opera, Pocket Opera and with Bay Area Classical Harmonies. She has performed leading roles in several operas including Carmen, as Carmen, in La Finta Giardinera as Arminda, in L’Egisto as Climene, in A Game of Game as The Third Knitter, in Dido and Aeneas as the Sorceress and in The Magic Flute as The Third Lady. In addition to performing, Kathryn teaches music to children in the Ravenswood School District.
