Cast Biographies
KIYEON CHO

KIYEON CHO, soprano, a native of Seoul, Korea, graduated from Boston Conservatory of Music and New England Conservatory of Music.  Her roles include the title role in Madama Butterfly for Cinnabar Opera and Zerlina in Don Giovanni; Lucy in The Telephone at Longwood Opera.  At the conservatory, Celie in Signor Deluso; Silverpeal in Impressario; Amore in L’Egisto and Four Saints.  Ms. Cho has also sung Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro; Echo in Ariadne auf Naxos; Hero in Beatrice and Benedick; Zdenka in Arabella; Juliet in Romeo and Juliet; in compromario roles for Lamont Opera Company in Suor Angelica, Christopher Columbus, Twelfth Night, Cabaret, and Die Fledermaus.  In 2001 & 2002 she appeared in Don Carlos and La Bohème with Boston Lyric Opera.  In 2003 she was a soloist in Beethoven’s Ninth at Davies Symphony Hall.  Upcoming appearances include Cio-cio-san in Madama Butterfly for Livermore Valley Opera, Violetta in La Traviata for Cinnabar Opera and as Cio-cio-san in Madama Butterfly, a DreamOpera.com production in 2004 as well as a tour of USA, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.
