KEN BERRY

KEN BERRY is a multifaceted performer, appearing regularly in music theatre, opera, symphony, and television and radio commercials. Recent performance credits include St. Chavez in Oakland Opera Theater's production of Virgil Thomson and Gertrude Stein's Four Saints in Three Acts, multiple roles in the world premiere of Erling Wold's Queer (based on the William Burroughs novel of the same name), the role of God in Sebastian Robin Craig's God and the Prostitute, and the Father in Wold's A Little Girl Dreams of Taking the Veil. Ken also created the role of Harvey/Kindness in Opera Piccola's production of Rinde Eckert's children's opera Navigators. Other credits include the Third Slave in the Maurice Sendak production of Mozart's The Magic Flute at Houston Grand Opera, as well as appearing as a soloist with many smaller Bay Area organizations. He sings regularly as an extra chorister with San Francisco Opera and as a professional member of the San Francisco Symphony Chorus.
