Cast Biographies
JOSHUA BROWN

JOSHUA BROWN came to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music after three years in the voice program at Manhattan School of Music where he studied under Peter Eldridge and Carolyn Marlow.  In the past year Mr. Brown has sung such baritone repertoire as St. Matthew’s Passion with the San Jose Symphonic Choir, Haydn’s Creation Mass at Stanford and Sid in Albert Herring at the Conservatory.  Before coming to San Francisco he was in Switzerland and Germany for two concert series.  Other recent engagements include Bernstein’s Mass with Cabrillo Music Festival, the four villains in Les Contes d’Hoffmann at the Conservatory, Danny in Girl Crazy at 42nd Street Moon, El Gallo in The Fantasticks, Gabey in Bernstein on Broadway, Fred in Love Songs & Alkaseltzer.  Mr. Brown sang the role of Brian Brainard in the world premiere of David Conte’s The Passion of Rita St. James.  Mr. Brown recently performed Guiliemo in the Lyric Opera’s Rigoletto.  He currently studies with Leroy Kromm.
