IGOR VIEIRA

IGOR VIEIRA (Hermann, Schlemil) made his professional debut singing the role of Dancaïre (Carmen). Subsequent roles include Dulcamara (L’elisir d’Amore), Eisenstein (Die Fledermaus), Ford (Falstaff), Lescaut (Manon Lescaut), and the title role in Don Giovanni. Mr. Vieira has sung 46 operatic roles with many companies including Rio de Janeiro Opera, Amazonian Opera Festival, Opera Theater of Philadelphia, West Bay Opera, Berkeley Opera, Rimrock Opera and Festival Opera. He was a world finalist of the 1995 Luciano Pavarotti Voice Competition in Philadelphia and a past member of the Lyric Opera of Kansas City Apprentice Program. Mr. Vieira holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ, and a Master’s Degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
