ELISABETH EASTMAN recently completed her graduate degree at San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the vocal guidance of Sylvia Anderson. Most recently she performed the role of Nancy in The San Francisco Conservatory’s production of Albert Herring. In August of 2000 Ms. Eastman sang the role of Ramiro in BASOTI’s production of La Finta Giardiniera as well as Grimgerde in the San Francisco Lyric Opera’s production of Die Walkyrie. Last spring Ms. Eastman appeared as Nicklaus in the Conservatory’s production of The Tales of Hoffmann. Other credits include Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro, Zwei Dame in Die Zauberflote, Berry Paris in The Crucible, Josephine in H.M.S. Pinafore, Charlotte in Good News and Marian in The Music Man. Ms. Eastman was also a featured soloist in the 2000 Sing-It-Yourself Messiah at Davies Symphony Hall. This summer, you can find Ms. Eastman performing the role of Amastre in Handel’s Serse with BASOTI.
