DANIEL ALEJANDRO MONTENEGRO

DANIEL ALEJANDRO MONTENEGRO, a southern California native, studies with Hermann Le Roux at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He recently appeared as Hoffman in The Tales of Hoffman with the Conservatory Opera. This past summer Mr. Montenegro performed the role of Tamino in Mozart's The Magic Flute and Sesto in Handel's Giulio Cesare, both with the New Opera Festival di Roma under the baton of Maestro Vignati with whom he has also performed Fenton in Verdi's Falstaff. Other roles to his credit include Rodolfo in La Boheme and Don Jose in Carmen for Summer Music West. Other engagements include Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly with San Francisco Lyric Opera and Ruggero in La Rondine for Pocket Opera.
