BENJAMIN SCOTT is a vocalist and actor who has performed with numerous Bay Area companies. Recently as a featured soloist under Kent Nagano's baton on the world premiere of Bitter Harvest, An American Farmer's Oratorio with Berkeley Symphony and on the Grammy nominated recording of Leonard Bernstein's Mass with Deutsche Symphonie Orchester Berlin. He sang with Pacific Mozart Ensemble on their debut at Carnegie Hall this past fall, singing works by Meredith Monk on the Making Music series. He was Music Director for SF Shakes 2004 production of Twelfth Night. He has also performed with Lyric Theatre of San José, Shakespeare at Stinson and Festival Opera. He is pleased to be making his debut with San Francisco Lyric Opera.
