AARON SCHEIDEL, tenor, is a rice farmer in the Sacramento Valley. He has been featured on the television shows California Heartland and California Country and has earned the title The Singing Farmer. Mr. Scheidel has performed numerous oratorio and opera roles in his career including Lennie in Of Mice and Men, Manrico in Il Trovatore, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Jenik in The Bartered Bride and a world premiere as Narbal in Claude Debussy’s La Gladiateur. Mr. Scheidel is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento with a B.S. in Strategic Management and also a graduate of San Jose State University with a B.A. in Vocal Performance.
