ANDREW COX, formerly a baritone, is happy to be making his tenor debut with San Francisco Lyric Opera.  He is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.  He has appeared locally with San Francisco Lyric Opera, Bay Shore Lyric Opera, SOLO Opera, Golden Gate Opera, Opera CMC and the Bay Area Summer Opera Theater Institute.  His repertoire includes Papageno (Die Zauberflöte), Guglielmo and Don Alfonso (Così fan tutte), Count Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Bob (The Old Maid and the Thief), Ben (The Telephone), Marullo (Rigoletto), Yamadori (Madama Butterfly) and El Dancaïro and Morales (Carmen).
