Cast Biographies

TODD GEER was an Adler fellow with San Francisco Opera from 1999-2001. His San Francisco Opera debut was as Don Gaspar in La Favorite in 1999 and he made a leading role debut that same season as Rodolfo in La Bohème. Subsequently he has taken part in over 30 different productions with San Francisco Opera. In recent seasons Mr. Geer has been acclaimed for his portrayals of the leading tenor roles in Verdi's Aida, Rigoletto, La Traviata, Nabucco, Stiffelio and I Masnadieri; Puccini's Tosca, Madama Butterfly, La Bohème, La Fanciulla del West and Manon Lescout; Mascagni's Cavaleria Rusticana and Guglielmo Ratcliff; Leoncavallo's Pagliacci and Zandonai's La Farsa Amorosa with companies across the United States, Europe and Asia.
