Martin Bell
MARTIN BELL (Marullo), is very pleased to sing with SFLO again. Performances with the company include Pageno in Magic Flute, Crespel and Luther in Tales of Hoffmann and Ferrando in Il Trovatore among many others. He is a frequent performer on the Bay Area classical music scene in opera, recital and oratorio. Recent engagements include Sharpless with Mission City Opera and appearing as soloist in the Richard Einhorn oratorio/score of the classic silent movie, The Passion of Joan of Arc at the Castro Theater. In addition to performing, Mr. Bell produced Oakland Opera Theater's acclaimed production of Malcolm X (one of The Chronicle’s 10 best classical music events of 2006) and most recently a revival of Duke Ellington's Queenie Pie.
