Cast Biographies

KATHRYN PALUMBO sang Maddalena in the Lyric Opera's Rigoletto and Tisbe in La Cenerentola. Ms. Palumbo received her Bachelor of Music degree from UC Santa Cruz and her Masters in Opera Performance from the Boston Conservatory. While in Boston, Kathryn studied with Ms. Sherri Geenawald and is fortunate to continue to do so. Locally Ms. Palumbo has performed with Bayshore Lyric Opera, Pocket Opera and Bay Area Classical Harmonies. She has performed leading roles including Carmen (Carmen), Arminda (La Finta Giardinera), Climene (L'Egisto), The Third Knitter (A Game of Game), The Sorceress (Dido and Aeneas), and The Third Lady (The Magic Flute). In addition to performing, Kathryn teaches music to children in the Ravenswood School District.
