Cast Biographies

KEVIN NAKATANI made his San Francisco Lyric Opera debut as the King of Egypt in Aida. Previous roles include Ferrando (Il Trovatore) with Utah Festival Opera and Banquo (MacBeth) with West Bay Opera. Mr. Nakatani also pursues his interest in musical theater, having recently performed the roles of Tulsa (Gypsy) and Charles Thomson (1776) with Utah Festival Opera. Other musical roles Mr. Nakatani has performed include Olin Britt (The Music Man), Sergeant of Police (The Pirates of Penzance), and Billy (Little Mary Sunshine). Mr. Nakatani also performed Don Basilio (Il Barbiere di Siviglia) with Livermore Valley Opera.
