Cast Biographies

JENNIE LITSTER made her company debut with San Francisco Lyric Opera in Aida. Recent roles include Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Blondchen (Die Entführung aus dem Serail), Tytania (A Midsummer Night's Dream), and the role of Rosewa in the world premiere performance of Abinadi. Other roles include Frasquita (Carmen), Nella (Gianni Schicchi), Madame Herz (The Impressario), Mrs. Nordstrom (A Little Night Music), and Madame Altina (La Divina). Upcoming engagements for Ms. Litster include Cinnabar Opera Theater's Transformations as Princess No. 1 in October, as well as Opera San Jose's Cosi fan Tutte as Despina in February, 2009. Ms. Litster earned her Bachelor of Music from Brigham Young University and her Master of Music from San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
