Our Mission
The Lyric Opera is dedicated
to:
- Performance of classical opera at prices that more people can
afford.
-
Inspiring today's younger generation to become tomorrow's opera
patron.
- Providing a venue for young singers to perform.
- Outreach to children.
- At every performance, 10% of seats are available, free of charge, to children from the San Francisco Unified School District. All children under 12 are admitted free. Each November performances are held in public schools.
